Join us for this month’s chapter meeting at the Tractor Supply headquarters in Brentwood. This month we will hear from Olabode O. Anise from DUO Security discussing Apples to Androids: Analyzing User Behavior in Mobile Security.

Abstract

While most people claim to be concerned about the privacy and security of data on their smartphones, the reality is that relatively few are taking the steps to ensure their devices are as secure as they can be. Many think that having a lock screen and avoiding sketchy apps is enough; unfortunately for them, it isn’t. Whether we’re talking about relatively recent attacks such as Quadrooter and Trident or old ones, like the Android QSEE vulnerabilities, users often remain exposed for months due to a combination of manufacturer and user behavior.
In this talk, we will discuss trends in user behaviors with the help of the millions of phones that authenticate with Duo. Also, we’ll compare the behaviors of Apple and Android users to find out which user base is really doing it better.

WHERE: Tractor Supply headquarters 5401 Virgina Way Brentwood TN 37027

WHEN: March 17th at 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
