That’s why Caterpillar offers recent college graduates the opportunity to explore various areas within our IT Development Program (ITDP). The ITDP provides program participants with the opportunity to advance their technical and leadership skills through challenging assignments across multiple areas of the business. Each ITDP participant has a unique program experience with the possibility of working on different teams in varied worksites over a three-year period. This allows program participants to diversify their technical skills and build their professional network.
In addition, the ITDP allows participants to learn from Caterpillar technical leaders and experts in a variety of team dynamics. ITDP participants absorb, in just a few years, what often takes a decade for young professionals to experience.
